Technical issues at Sinclair cause change to this weekend's ROH TV

Due to technical difficulties at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Ring of Honor has had to change its plans for this weekend's episode of ROH TV.

It was announced on Wednesday night that, because of the technical issues at Sinclair, this weekend's ROH TV will be an encore spotlight episode featuring past matches from Jay Lethal. The episode will air on Sinclair stations starting this Saturday.

"Because of technical difficulties experienced with our parent company, this week’s TV episode will feature an encore presentation spotlighting The Franchise of ROH, JAY LETHAL," ROH wrote. "Take a look back at some of his most historic ROH matches against JAY BRISCOE & AJ STYLES!"

Sinclair was disrupted by a ransomware attack earlier this month.

This weekend's ROH TV was supposed to be a special Halloween episode of the show. That episode will instead air exclusively on ROH's YouTube channel at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, which is Halloween night.

The Halloween edition of ROH TV will feature Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Moses & Kaun) defending their ROH Six-Man Tag Team titles against Danhausen, PCO & Sledge. ROH Women's World Champion Rok-C & Quinn McKay vs. Miranda Alize & Max The Impaler is also set for the show, along with a Wildcard Trick or Treat Halloween four corner survival tag match with teams drawn at random.

ROH announced today that it's going on hiatus after December's Final Battle pay-per-view and will be taking the first quarter of 2022 to "work internally to reimagine ROH." ROH talent won't have their contracts renewed after the promotion's remaining 2021 dates, and the wrestlers are able to work wherever they want immediately.
