Fabian Aichner has now earned himself a future title shot on TNA Impact.

Following a series of impressive displays, TNA’s recent signee, Fabian Aichner, earned himself a shot at Cedric Alexander’s X-Division Championship. On the July 2 episode of TNA Impact, Aichner defeated Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, Jason Hotch, and The Home Town Man to earn the contender’s spot.

In the final moments of the match, the 35-year-old caught BDE in a powerbomb to keep him down for the three count and secure the win. While Aichner will now face Alexander for the TNA X-Division Championship, the promotion has not yet announced an official bout date.

Previously known as Giovanni Vinci in WWE, Aichner made his TNA debut a few months ago. Shortly after his arrival, he became a regular face on TNA television and earned himself a spot on the Slammiversary card. Since his debut, Aichner has been in a feud against The System and Alexander, especially.
