First TNA Knockouts TV title tournament semifinalist confirmed
TNA Wrestling has officially confirmed the first-ever Knockouts TV title tournament semifinalist.
During the July 23 episode of TNA Impact, Wendy Choo faced off against Elayna Black in the Knockouts TV title tournament first-round match. However, despite a hard-fought match, their bout ended in a time-limit draw at the ten-minute mark.
Shortly after, it was announced that both Choo and Black were eliminated from the tournament due to the draw. This also meant that M By Elegance received a bye to the semifinals in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament. M By Elegance was previously scheduled to face the winner of the Choo versus Black match, but has now become the tournament’s first semifinalist.
Later in the night, Jada Stone defeated Alisha Edwards to qualify for the tournament’s second round.
