First two women advance in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament
Two women have advanced to the second round of the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament.
Last month at TNA Slammiversary, the promotion announced the introduction of the Knockouts TV Championship in its women’s division. The new TV title will be defended exclusively on Impact, and a 16-woman tournament was announced to crown the first-ever champion.
The first round of the tournament began on the July 2, 2026 episode of TNA Impact and saw Mara Sade and Heather by Elegance qualify for the second round. Mara Sade defeated Tasha Steelz to advance, while Heather by Elegance defeated Allie to advance.
Thea Hail and Wendy Choo, who hail from WWE NXT, are also competing in the tournament through the WWE-TNA partnership.
