Moose says he’ll be ok for TNA Impact after suffering ‘serious injury’ at Genesis
Former TNA World Champion Moose revealed that he suffered a back injury at TNA Genesis.
At last Saturday’s pay-per-view, he faced off against Joe Hendry and Cedric Alexander in a three-way where Hendry emerged victorious.
A few days after the bout, he shared an update on his health on social media and announced “a serious injury.”
“For those who watched TNA Genesis, I did suffer a serious injury. From the bottom of my heart, I want to sincerely thank everyone for all their concern and get well soon wishes,” he wrote.
Multiple spots in the match saw Hendry target Moose’s back where Hendry even launched Moose back-first onto the steel steps. However, there have been no confirmations regarding the exact spot or when the injury took place.
Despite his back being “super stiff,” the 41-year-old announced that he is planning to appear on this week’s Thursday Night Impact from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Moose has had a history of back injuries, including one he suffered during his match against Leon Slater at Slammiversary 2025.
