Report: Masha Slamovich gone from TNA, contract expired
Masha Slamovich appears to be gone from TNA.
Fightful Select reported on Tuesday that Slamovich was officially done with TNA as her contract expired. This comes after people noticed that her profile was removed from TNA’s website.
Slamovich, a former TNA Knockouts Champion, was pulled from the company back in September after domestic abuse allegations emerged from former MLW wrestler AKIRA. Soon after, TNA launched an investigation into the matter. According to Bryan Alvarez, the belief at the time was that Slamovich was done with the company.
After the accusations emerged, Slamovich issued a statement saying that she was involved in a “toxic and mutually destructive relationship” and took responsibility for her actions. She has not wrestled in the time since, with promotions choosing to pull her from previously booked events.
In addition to her time in TNA, Slamovich also made a few appearances in NXT as part of the relationship between the two companies. At Heatwave, she lost to Ash by Elegance in a three-way match that also involved Jacy Jayne in a match for the TNA Knockouts title.
