Report: Update on The Hardys’ TNA contract status

With TNA locking in several talent deals ahead of January, a new update has emerged on The Hardys’ contract status.

Fightful Select’s latest report shared that sources informed them that 51-year-old Matt Hardy and 48-year-old Jeff Hardy have not officially signed new contracts with TNA. However, they noted that a deal is expected to be done very soon with a potential long-term agreement. It has also been speculated internally that the two are the highest-paid talent in the promotion.

TNA’s current approach with many of its in-ring talent includes short-term monthly deals which are designed to allow flexibility during the eventual transition to AMC which begins in mid-January.

The brothers are four-time TNA World Tag Team Champions and are at 154 days in their current reign. They also held the NXT Tag Team titles this year and have made several appearances on Tuesday nights as part of the crossover.
