Team NXT vs. Team TNA steel cage match announced

A Team NXT vs. Team TNA steel cage match has been announced.

On Saturday, TNA posted video of Santino Marella following Friday’s Final Resolution event, which concluded with an invasion by several NXT wrestlers. In the video, Santino said the two sides will meet in a steel cage match in two weeks.

Santino says in the video:

“Two weeks from today we’re going to settle this like real men. No more running around, no more hiding in the shadows, no more being b—hes. We’re going to settle this, Team TNA vs. Team NXT in a steel cage!”

Santino continued to say he’s going to call Ava and the teams will be announced this week. Mike Santana then walked into the scene. He nodded and said to Santino, “You know what to do.”

TNA is advertising a steel cage match for Saturday’s TV taping at the El Paso County Coliseum. Another taping is scheduled for Sunday, following Final Resolution at the same venue on Friday night. These tapings are the promotion’s final shows before TNA goes live with its first episode on AMC on January 15 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
