TNA announces lineup for this week’s Impact

TNA Wrestling has announced the lineup for this week’s edition of Impact.

The episode scheduled for Thursday, July 2 will feature the fallout from Slammiversary and the start of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament.

On Wednesday, TNA Wrestling posted a preview for Thursday’s show, which advertised the following matches and segments.

There will be a number one contender’s match for the TNA X-Division Championship, with Fabian Aichner vs. Mr. Elegance vs. BDE vs. Rich Swann vs. Jason Hotch vs. The Home Town Man. The winner will earn a future shot at Cedric Alexander and the X-Division title.

Two matches in the Knockouts Television title tournament are scheduled, with Heather by Elegance going one-on-one with Allie and Mara Sadé facing Tasha Steelz.

New TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth is advertised to “take center stage” coming off his win over Mike Santana at Slammiversary. TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside is also advertised for the show.

Ryan Nemeth vs. KC Navarro is also scheduled for Thursday’s show. Ricky Sosa is “set to address the TNA fans,” while Leon Slater and Eddie Edwards are set for singles competition.
