TNA confirms departure of two wrestlers & upcoming return of former titleholder

TNA

TNA has confirmed the departure of two wrestlers, but an upcoming return of another.

The company announced in a press release that both Mara Sade and Jody Threat have left TNA but despite the departures, a former titleholder will be returning.

“TNA Wrestling today confirmed that Jody Threat and Mara Sade have left the company. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors,” TNA’s statement reads. “In addition, TNA Wrestling confirmed a former titleholder is returning to the Knockouts Division.”

Two new free agents

PWInsider reported earlier on Monday that Jody Threat had wrapped up her time in TNA over the last week, losing to Jada Stone on the most recent edition of Impact. She reportedly asked for and received her release. It had also been previously reported that Sade had recently entered free agency.

The two departures come as multiple wrestlers have departed in the company in the last few months including Mike Santana, Victoria Crawford, Sinner & Saint, and Steve Maclin.
