TNA Impact viewership & 18-49 rating take big hit against tough sports competition

Moose and Rich Swann| TNA Wrestling

Against tough sports competition, last week’s TNA Thursday Night Impact averaged 175,000 viewers on AMC, down 17.5% from the previous week’s 212,000.

It’s the lowest audience for the show since January 22 and the third-lowest number it’s done since moving to the network.

It averaged a 0.03 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 25% from the prior week (.03%) and matching the lowest rating the show has done in that category on AMC.

The show went head-to-head with the NFL Draft on ESPN that was also simulcast on ABC and the NFL Network, averaging over 12 million viewers between the various networks. The show was also up against both the NHL and NBA playoffs, so the competition was much tougher than usual.

It was tied for 70th on the night on the primetime cable charts.
