TNA Slammiversary update: New match official, former WWE wrestler reportedly set to debut

A new match is officially on the books for TNA Slammiversary 2026 this weekend.

TNA confirmed today that a grudge match between AJ Francis and Elijah will be part of the card for Sunday’s pay-per-view. The two have been feuding for months, and a big storyline development took place a few weeks back when Francis — after Elijah refused to collaborate with him — revealed that he had acquired Elijah’s name, image, and likeness from Elijah’s music manager. Francis said he had also acquired Elijah’s entire music catalog, dating back to when he was Elias in WWE.

This match was all but made official for Slammiversary last week when Francis issued a challenge to Elijah while appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast.

Former WWE wrestler reportedly set to make TNA debut at Slammiversary —

Both Francis (Top Dolla) and Elijah are former WWE wrestlers — and PWInsider reports that TNA will be debuting another former WWE talent at Slammiversary. The report says this talent was a “former multi-time singles champion” for WWE, but their identity and which titles they held are not known at this time. It also wasn’t mentioned if the person is a man or woman.

PWInsider notes that it’s believed this talent will be wrestling at Slammiversary.

The PPV is being held at Agganis Arena in Boston on Sunday with a 4 p.m. Eastern main card start time. Here is the updated lineup:
