TNA star explains why a match against AEW Champion MJF is possible
Despite both Nic Nemeth and MJF being contracted to two different wrestling promotions, Nemeth believes a future match between the two cannot be ruled out.
In a recent interview with Card Player, TNA star Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE, opened up and addressed MJF’s recent challenge to Nemeth. Despite Nemeth’s status as a TNA star, he claimed that he could still fight MJF because he is “allowed to do basically whatever the h**l” he wants.
“The really funny thing is, yeah I absolutely can fight MJF this year. I’m allowed to do basically whatever the hell I want with TNA. So it absolutely can be real. He’s got all the potential in the world to be one of the greatest of all time and so far from what I’ve watched, I’m a fan of his, but he couldn’t possibly hang in the ring with me. He’s hung around a broken down Daniel Bryan,” Nemeth stated. “He’s going to be a fantastic multi-time champion and I really think he’ll be solidified as a legend, but at the moment he couldn’t hold my jockstrap.”
While MJF is currently involved in a World title feud with Brody King, Hangman Adam Page, Andrade El Idolo, and Kenny Omega, he also actively defends the title across multiple other promotions. Meanwhile, Nemeth also actively performs across different wrestling promotions apart from TNA Wrestling.
