A popular X-Division name from the early days of TNA will be returning to the company for Slammiversary 2026.

On social media today, TNA posted a video all but confirming Amazing Red for the June 28 pay-per-view in Boston. This comes after company president Carlos Silva teased Red for the event in a tweet where he said Slammiversary was “gonna be Amazing.”

What Amazing Red will be doing at Slammiversary has not been announced, but one option could be taking part in the scheduled Ultimate X match. Cedric Alexander is defending his X-Division title against Leon Slater and four more Ultimate X competitors to be announced.

Amazing Red, who helped innovate junior heavyweight wrestling in the early 2000s, is a multi-time champion of the X-Division. He was last with TNA in 2011 and now operates the House of Glory wrestling school, along with competing for HOG.

Slammiversary is being held at Agganis Arena and will have a special afternoon start time (4 p.m. Eastern for the main card and 3 p.m. for the pre-show). Here is the announced lineup so far:
