TNA Slammiversary 2026 Nic Nemeth vs. Mike Santana

Nic Nemeth is the new TNA World Champion.

He defeated Mike Santana for the title on Sunday at TNA Slammiversary, held at Agganis Arena in Boston.

Santana, who had been busted open earlier in the match, was unable to hit his Spin the Block finisher late in the match, allowing Nemeth to hit Danger Zone for the pin.

After the match, Nic and Ryan Nemeth celebrated in the ring as the show came to a close.

This was the 66th title change in the history of the TNA World Championship, dating back to 2007. Nemeth becomes the 16th wrestler in history to hold the TNA World title on multiple occasions.

This is Nemeth’s second reign with the title. He also won the belt at Slammiversary in 2024 in an elimination match against Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Joe Hendry, and Frankie Kazarian.

Santana’s second reign with the title concludes after 164 days and six successful title defenses. He won the title from Frankie Kazarian on the January 15, 2026 edition of TNA Impact.

His previous run with the belt began at Bound For Glory 2025, when he defeated Trick Williams to win it for the first time. He then dropped the title the following month to Frankie Kazarian on a live episode of Impact from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
