TNA Wrestling officially invites LeBron James to Philadelphia TV tapings
TNA Wrestling has invited LeBron James to an upcoming show.
The promotion is set to present a live episode of Impact on Thursday, July 30, from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. James recently signed with the city’s NBA franchise, the Philadelphia 76ers.
On Wednesday, TNA Wrestling stated that it was “officially inviting” James to be the official title holder for the TNA World Championship match between Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy on the show.
TNA wrote:
“As the Philadelphia 76ers now seriously talk titles, TNA Wrestling has a major World Championship match Thursday in Philadelphia, and TNA is officially inviting the new @sixers superstar, @KingJames, to be the Official Title Holder for the @NicTNemeth vs. @JEFFHARDYBRAND World Championship match at the Liacouras Center. See you ringside, LeBron!”
Following Thursday’s live episode of Impact and TV taping, TNA will return to the Liacouras Center on Friday, July 31, to tape more matches for upcoming episodes of Impact.
The promotion is coming off drawing its highest viewership since debuting on AMC for an episode that featured the Righteous Deletion match between the Hardys and the Righteous.
