While many champions successfully defended their titles, TNA Rebellion also crowned two new champions.

At TNA Rebellion, Mustafa Ali challenged Trey Miguel for the International Championship. After a close fight with several covers, Ali snatched the victory and won the title after Tasha Steelz distracted the referee, which allowed Jason Hotch & John Skyler to hit Miguel. Ali followed it up with a 450 splash to secure the pinfall and earn his new championship.

After a solid almost 13-minute bout, Ali defeated Miguel and became the new TNA International Champion.

Shortly after Ali’s win, The System (Bear Bronson and Brian Myers) defeated The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship. The win marked an end for Jeff and Matt Hardy’s 265-day title reign.

While Bronson and Myers representing The System won titles, both Cedric Alexander and Eddie Edwards lost their respective X-Division and TNA World Champion matches.

While the win marked Myers fourth tag-team title win, this is Bronson’s first-ever championship win in TNA.
