Original:
An update is available regarding TNA Wrestling pulling talent from upcoming shows.
Our own Dave Meltzer is confirming earlier reports on Wednesday that TNA is blocking talent from facing AEW wrestlers on independent shows.
Regarding the MJF vs. Nic Nemeth match scheduled for Create-A-Pro’s show on May 1, Meltzer says he was told the match is still expected to happen, but that there has been an attempt to get it blocked.
There have been no updates on the Ricochet vs. Leon Slater match scheduled for the Mark Hitchcock Supershow on April 16.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that TNA president Carlos Silva has said some TNA talent have been pulled from shows due to “partner conflicts.”
Both PWInsider and Fightful Select reported on Thursday that Moose had been pulled from MLP Multiverse in Las Vegas after having previously been granted approval for the show. It was also said that there were “growing concerns” that TNA was moving toward a scenario where its talent would not be permitted to work with talent from AEW or other companies at all.
Fightful added in its report that sources close to MLP believe TNA president Carlos Silva was unhappy with AEW Collision running head-to-head with TNA Impact last week.
