TNA AMC

The visa issues impacting TNA events this week are in fact true.

Bryan Alvarez is reporting that visa issues are what has caused changes to not only the debut episode of Impact on AMC from Thursday, but also Saturday’s TNA Genesis pay-per-view in Texas.

“I can confirm that everyone on the TNA show that they claimed was out due to visa issues legitimately was,” Alvarez writes.

One name absent from Impact this week was Leon Slater, who was set to defend the X Division title against Myron Reed on Thursday and was also scheduled for a triple threat match against Moose and Cedric Alexander on Saturday. Santino Marella told Cedric on Impact this week that he’d get an X Division title match in the future, but the triple threat match for Saturday was still on as Joe Hendry was inserted into the bout.

Dani Luna was also absent on Thursday, with Marella in another segment saying she was also out of Genesis and that an open contract was now out for the Knockouts title match. That was when NXT’s Zaria and Sol Ruca arrived. Ruca encouraged Zaria to take the match in Garland, Texas, and she did.
