UFC President Dana White recently discussed the upcoming UFC White House event, revealing that he expects the show to get some absolutely astronomical viewing numbers. Speaking to TNT Sports, White says that he is expecting viewing figures in the range of the Super Bowl on Sunday.

“It’s definitely a one-of-one event. And when you think about where we came from, and how this whole sport started, and how it was frowned upon in the United States, to now be headed to the White House is pretty surreal.

The Sphere should’ve won every award there is in production. It did not. Which doesn’t surprise me, very political. If we don’t win every production award for the White House fight, they should just stop doing production awards, because you’re full of sh*t. The main event guys will come from the Oval Office. The walkouts and everything for this fight are incredible and a one-of-one.

For UFC fans all over the world, this is a very unique experience for everybody. We’re expecting Super Bowl-type numbers for this fight.

UFC White House vs Super Bowl

For context, the 2026 Super Bowl drew an estimated 125.6 million viewers on Sunday, February 8, according to Nielsen’s Big Data. NBC’s presentation of Super Bowl LX ranks as the second most-watched Super Bowl in history, behind the 127.7 million viewers who watched Super Bowl LIX in 2025. The halftime show (that featured Bad Bunny) averaged 128.2 million viewers between 8:15-8:30 p.m. ET. Viewership peaked at 137.8 million viewers during the second quarter (7:45-8:00 p.m. ET).

Whilst White did not confirm that he’s hoping for 2026 Super Bowl numbers, it’s still going to be quite some feat if the UFC pull off in the region of 100 million viewers.
