WWE makes CM Punk announcement ahead of SmackDown
WWE announced CM Punk’s attendance for SmackDown this week.
WWE confirmed Punk’s appearance at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City this Friday via a post on X. This comes after his surprising Undisputed WWE Title win on Raw, capturing the title from Sami Zayn who barely was a titleholder for two weeks.

Punk returned on the July 6 edition of Raw where he replaced Cody Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Championship bout against Sami Zayn on Raw. The transition happened after Gunther attacked Rhodes backstage which led to Punk taking his spot in the main event in his hometown of Chicago, and winning his eighth WWE World Championship.
