WWE return confirmed for NXT tonight
Lilian Garcia confirmed her WWE return for the upcoming July 14 edition of NXT.
Garcia made the announcement via Instagram about her return to the Performance Center for NXT after nearly a year.
“Have you heard? I will be announcing @wwe NXT tonight! It’s been over a year since I have been here at the performance center, so I am very excited to be back with all of you! Thank you for the beautiful welcome last time. Let’s have a blast tonight!,” posted Garcia.
Last year, Garcia revealed details about her WWE contract following her return in 2024. While she is not part of the regular roster, Garcia has made appearances at various events as an announcer. Her longstanding tenure with WWE as ring announcer from 1999 to 2010 was a defining part of her career, making her one of the most recognizable voices of the company during that era.
This week’s edition of NXT features a Tag Team Championship match between Vanity Project and Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux. Naraku will collide with Tate Wilder in a singles bout. Zaria is anticipated to defend the NXT Women’s North American Title but her opponent remains unannounced. Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong compete in a triple threat match with the winner earning the No. 1 contender’s spot for the NXT Women’s Championship.
