WWE star believes Sami Zayn will emerge as babyface after Undisputed Title setback
Sami Zayn’s barely two week title reign left the wrestling industry perplexed especially after the massive boost received and positive prospects on his future.
Natalya expressed how Zayn’s short-lived title reign could prove to spark a new turning point in his WWE career on Busted Open Radio.
“I actually think that Sami is going to come out of this thing as a massive, massive babyface. Remember when the fans were booing Sami when he was getting ready to wrestle Trick (Williams) and everybody was kinda turning on him. Well, just as soon as our fans can turn on someone they can also get behind someone. People think that Sami was screwed, you know that he didn’t have the title for what? How long did he have it for? 10 days! I don’t know. It feels like it could spark something really, really cool for Sami.”
On the July 6 edition of Raw, CM Punk returned to WWE after a nearly two month hiatus. He confronted Cody Rhodes in the week before WrestleMania and teased a title feud with him. However, he replaced Rhodes on this week’s Raw and won his 8th WWE World Title reign.
