WWE star eyeing challenging feud with Seth Rollins: ‘I’m very curious about that’
Ricky Saints has already mapped out his WWE opponents, challenges and championship aspirations.
Saints told Camila Castillo of LaJunta+ that Brock Lesnar would present a unique challenge in the ring, while Seth Rollins is someone he is eager to test his grit against as an opponent.
“You know, a big challenge I think would be wrestling Brock Lesnar, that’d be a big challenge for me. Beyond that, I’d love to test my grit against Seth Rollins in a singles match as well. I’m very curious about that, also.”
Talking about other items on his wrestling bucket list, Saints expressed wanting to compete in the Superdome in his hometown, New Orleans. Additionally, he is currently focused on winning the United States Championship and someday the WWE Title.
“Sometimes I don’t even, I can’t even think of something because I just, it happens. I think that the next thing I want that is on my bucket list, I’d really love to wrestle in the Superdome in New Orleans, my hometown. That’s the one in front of me. Beyond that I’d love to go and actually win the United States Championship, then go on and become WWE Champion, those are the main goals as well. For right now, to give you something that’s right in front of me, I really want to wrestle in the Superdome, and it will happen.”
While Lesnar announced his WWE retirement following his SummerSlam match against Oba Femi, the other name on the SmackDown star’s list remains a realistic future opponent.
Saints pursued the US Title and competed against Trick Williams at Night of Champions. Although he fell short of capturing the title, the WWE star remains determined to win his first piece of singles gold.
