Chelsea Green believes she can now walk away from wrestling.
Just days after winning the WWE Interim Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2026, Chelsea Green believes she is content with her career.
Speaking to XTU Philadelphia, Green addressed her title win and claimed how rewarding it felt. Happy with her career now, Green believes she can walk away from the sport.
“It does. And it just it truly does feel like everything happened at the perfect time in Minnesota at SummerSlam with my family ringside, my husband ringside,” Green said. “I could not have asked for a better full circle moment. If I were to close the book that is WWE or that is professional wrestling or whatever it is, I would I would be so happy doing that today because of this moment.”
A few years ago, in 2024, Green became the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion, and two reigns later, she has finally won her first World title in WWE.

In the same interview, Green further opened up and addressed the aftermath of winning the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
“It has been surreal. I feel like, you know the moment that I grabbed the title and pulled it down and the crowd went nuts, and kind of everything changed for me. It’s just been 13 years in the making. 13 years of blood, sweat, tears, of missing funerals and weddings and births and all sorts of things. And it just it feels so good because everything was worth it,” she finished.
However, just days after winning the title at WWE SummerSlam, Green also suffered an orbital bone injury during the latest episode of SmackDown.
