2K Games announces March release date for WWE 2K22

It was announced tonight that WWE 2K22 will be released next March.

During tonight’s SummerSlam event, a new trailer was shown featuring stars like Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Rey Mysterio, and more. You can watch the trailer below:

In a tweet, WWE 2K22’s Twitter account has promised new controls, graphics, and a redesigned game engine.

A March 2022 release date is outside the normal release window of WWE games, which are usually in the fall. In a press release, 2K Games said they would announce more details on the game’s roster, modes, and other features in January of 2022. No game platforms have been announced.

WWE 2K22 will be the first game released under the 2K banner since WWE 2K20 in the fall of 2019. That game was critically panned, averaging 45% on Metacritic due to a number of bugs and glitches that had an effect on gameplay.
