AAA on Fox live results: Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana defend the World Mixed Tag titles
AAA is back on Fox in Latin America on Saturday night.
Matches for this week’s episode were taped last Saturday after AAA’s live show from Mexico City. That event featured Penta successfully retaining the Intercontinental Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo.
Two matches are advertised for tonight’s episode, including a title bout.
AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana will defend the titles against La Hiedra and Dinamico. This will be the first defense for Vice and Iguana since winning the titles from Ethan Page and La Hiedra, who filled in for an injured Chelsea Green in February.
Also scheduled for Saturday is a triple threat bout with Aero Star, Joaquin Wilde, and Lince Dorado.
The full lineup for AAA on Fox for April 18, 2026:
- Lince Dorado vs. Joaquin Wilde vs. Aero Star
- AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana defend against La Hiedra & Dinamico
Our live coverage is set to begin at 10 p.m. Eastern.

Welcome in, friends! Or should I say ¡Bienvenidos amigos!
Tonight, WWE is running some little indie show, so they aren’t airing any AAA action on their Youtube page. With that said though, there’s still the AAA Youtube page! That page broadcasts entirely in Spanish though and unfortunately, yours truly struggles with English let alone Spanish. So, I will keep you informed as best I can.
The show began and the footage of wrestlers arriving to work provided us with some breaking news: Ivar of the War Raiders will be taking on one half of the AAA Tag Champions, Psycho Clown later in the show. To kick things off though:
Three Way Match: Lince Dorado vs Aero Star vs Joaquin Wilde
Dorado took control off the top, elbowing Aero out of the ring and focusing on Wilde. Aero got back into the ring in time to eat a backbreaker and a hard lariat from Dorado. Wilde tried to get some offence in, but Areo cut him off.
Dorado was sent to the outside and Wilde and Aero exchanged blows until Dorado came back in. Wilde dispatched them both and went for a pin on Aero, but he kicked out. Aero responded by kicking Wilde out of the ring, only to be drop slammed by Dorado.
Aero stepped out to catch his breath and Dorado dove through the ropes onto him. Out of nowhere, Wilde jumped off the top turnbuckle onto both on the outside. Wilde pulled Aero back into the ring and set him up in kind of a reverse surfboard and posed.
Dorado took exception to that and pulled Wilde off Aero by the hair. He hit him with a driver, but it only got a two count. Dorado charged and Wilde back body dropped him out of the ring and laid out Aero with a superkick.
Wild went up top, but Aero cut him off and blocked a sunset bomb. Wilde reset and tried it again, but while making the pin, Dorado hit a moonsault onto them both. Dorado went for a cover, but Aero broke it up with a senton.
Aero hit a chinbreaker on Dorado and then returned the favor from earlier, diving on him through the ropes. Back in the ring, Wilde said something wrong because Aero dove onto him, sending him into the Announce table.
Aero got back in the ring and hit a cutter on Dorado. Aero then hit a poisonrana from the top turnbuckle on Dorado, but Dorado rolled it through and pinned him to get the win.
Match Result: Lince Dorado defeated Aero Star and Joaquin Wilde
Backstage, the War Raiders were shown beating up Murder Clown. Psycho Clown and Pagano made the save and the scene swtiched to Dorian Roldán having a meeting with his Mom. He made the pitch that he should be running AAA. The response was “we’ll think about it.” Based on what it means when MY Mom says that, he probably doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in Mexico City.
AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title Match: Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana (c) vs Dinamico & La Hiedra
Brand new NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice entered to a great ovaition from the audience, but as always it was La Yesca and Mr Iguana that got everyone off their feet. Dinamico and Hiedra were also there.
Iguana and Dinamico kicked things off with Iguana knocking him to the ring then placing La Yesca on his chest. Iguana started a count, but Dinamico kicked out at two.
Vice tagged in and tied up with Hiedra. Vice put her in an arm stretch, then laid a few kicks in the midsection. Hiedra popped back up, but Vice dropped her with a leg sweep. Hiedra returned the favour and Vice went stiff like an Iguana. That allowed her to lure Hiedra into a triangle choke.
Dinamico ran in, but was cut off by Iguana who put him in an armbar. Hiedra and Dinamico overpowered their opponents and Dinamico hit a meteora on Iguana in the corner. Hiedra dropkicked Vice in the corner, but could only get a two count.
Vice and Hiedra fought until Vice landed a suplex. That gave her a chance to tag in Iguana who took Dinamico down with an Inguanarna. He went for the cover, but Dinamico kicked out at two.
Dinamico landed a cutter on Iguana, but couldn’t get the pin. Dinamico whipped him into the corner, where Vice made a tag and Iguana grabbed La Yesca. Iguana threw La Yesca at Hiedra and Vice hit a cannonball on Dinamico, sending him to the outside.
Vice and Hiedra fought until Iguana distracted her with La Yesca and Vice sent her out of the ring. Dinamico took her place and went for a suplex, but Iguana countered with a back elbow. Dinamico hit a powerbomb, but again Iguana kicked out. Iguana hit him with a bulldog onto La Yesca (I think) and made the pin to retain the Mixed Tag Titles.
Match Result: Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana defeated Dinamico & La Hiedra
After a recap package, it was revealed that the El Grande Americano Civil War will continue next week as they sign the contract for their mask-vs-mask match. I’m sure it will be a somber and civil affair with no violence of any kind.
The scene switched and El Verde Americano was shown backstage giving Texano Jr his flowers and asking him to be on his team to defend the honor of AAA and Lucha Libre. So I think they are going to be friends and partners in a tag match next week.
Also, Rey Fenix will be in action and La Catalina will have some things to say. Next week! Before that though:
War Raider Ivar vs Psycho Clown
A video package teased a bit of tension in the Psycho Circus between Pagano and Psycho Clown. But, they have agreed to deal with it later once the War Raiders are out of their collective brightly colored hair. Psycho Clown entered so hard it appeared he lost part of his very spiky jacket.
The thing about Ivar is he is a very big guy who moves like a luchadore. This shouldn’t be possible, but it is and off the top he took control, knocking Psycho to the mat. Psycho tried to counter with a waistlock and some punching.
Ivar sent him off the ropes, but Psycho used it as a springboard for a shoulder tackle that sent Iver out of the ring, where Psycho dove onto him from the apron. He sent Ivar back into the ring where Ivar dropped him with a spinning power slam.
Ivar started clubbing Psycho’s back, hitting him so hard his own hairline receded. He stomped Psycho, but Psycho fired up and started throwing hands. And Feet. Psycho hit a spinning kick, but Ivar saw him coming out of the corner and put him down hard.
Ivar missed on a cannonball, allowing Psycho to dropkick him in the back. Psycho went up top and hit a bouncing split legged moonsault, but Ivar kicked out of the cover at two. Psycho got to his feet and tried to rip his own face off (it’s a thing he does, don’t worry) but Ivar stopped it. Psycho sent him into the corner for a big boot.
Psycho went up top again and went for a cross body, but Ivar caught and planted him in the middle of the ring. Ivar scoop slammed him for good measure, then went up top for a moonsault of his own. Psycho moved though and Ivar bounced up, throwing a spin kick.
Ivar hit a sit-out powerbomb, but Psycho kicked out at two. Ivar set him up on the top turnbuckle, but Psycho countered an hit a sunset bomb. Ivar kicked out of the cover though.
Psycho hit a drop kick, sending Ivar into the referee. He landed a driver on Ivar, but the ref was out and coultdn’t make the count. Erik, the other War Raider ran to the ring and took out Psycho. He and Ivar double powerbombed him and Erik woke up the ref who counted to three.
Match Result: Ivar defeated Psycho Clown
Pagano then hit the ring, seconds short of being able to save his tag partner, Psycho. They argued up the ramp, coming to shoves at one point. They headed to the back still arguing. The camera followed and they started shoving each other in the back.
Pagano said that Psycho should watch his mouth and they stomped off in different directions. Psycho came upon the beaten body of Murder Clown. He reached down and pulled up a black bandana insinuating that it had been Pagano who took out Murder.
Sounds like a Ja Rule song.
See you next week!
