After an NXT Stand and Deliver that showed some progress, we change gears and move to Mexico for AAA Lucha Libre action!

After a recap of the last three weeks of Rey De Reyes, The show began with a trios match:

The Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento, Takuma, and Nobu San) vs Lince Dorado, Mecha Wolf and El Mesias

El Mesias hasn’t been seen in AAA in over a year, but that didn’t stop Dorado and Nobu from running circles around each other to start the match. Wolf tagged in and so did Takuma and the two battled from post to post. Finally Mesias tagged in to a big ovation to take on Kento.

They traded chops with Mesias ending it with a big right hand. He went off the ropes and Kento took him out at the knees before tagging in Nobu. The Bad Boys triple teamed Mesias leaving Kento to take him on alone. Mesias prevented a tag and Wolf and Dorado took out the Bad Boys on the apron.

Kento and Mesias fought in the ring, isolating Kento in the oppositions corner. They tagged in and out taking turns whipping each other into the corner onto Kento. Mesias hit a big powerslam and Wolf made the cover, but Kento kicked out at two.

Wolf remained legal and he and Kento threw strikes in the middle of the ring. Wolf hit a snap suplex and went for a cover, but Kento kicked out at two. Dorado tagged in and tried a quick cover, but no dice. Kento reached for a tag, but Dorado hit a backstabber to keep him from getting there.

Dorado dragged Kento to his corner where Mesias took over and hit him with several back elbows. He threw a low lariat, but could only get a two count. He went to kick Kento in the face, but Kento countered with a heel kick and made it to the corner to tag in Nobu.

Nobu dropkicked Dorado and Wolf out of the ring and Mesias was left to be triple teamed. The bad Boys threw him to the outside and then threw Nobu over the top rope onto him. Kento hit a splash on Dorado on the outside and Takuma did the same to Mecha Wolf.

Back in the ring, Nobu tried to get Mesias with a suplex and after three tries, landed it for a two count. Takuma tagged in and they shot Mesias off the ropes, but like the Juggernaught, once he gets moving there’s no stopping Mesias. He clocked them both then hit a thundering powerbomb on Takuma.

Kento came in from out of nowhere with a sling blade and he and Dorado took over striking each other. Dorado ate a doube superkick from Kento A Nobu, but countered with stereo stunners on them both. Wolf and Dorado dove onto Nobu and Kento on the outside and Mesias hit a flatliner on Takuma to get the pin and the victory.

Match Result: Lince Dorado, Mecha Wolf and El Mesias defeated The Tokyo Bad Boys

-Backstage Fraxiom told each other that they would be on opposite teams in the newly “international” trios divison of AAA. Not super sure when that match is happening, but we will keep you apprised.

Reina de Reinas Title Match: Flammer (c) vs. Sussy Love

Flammer has been Reina De Reinas Champion for close to 1000 days (966 as of this writing), but hasn’t beaten Love to my knowledge. At Rey De Reyes, Flammer beat Bayley with a bit of an assist from Los Toxicas.

Flammer came out swinging, dropping Love on her head right off the bell. Love came back with a push down and the two traded shoves until Flammer started throwing right hands. Love came off the ropes with a superkick and dropped Flammer with an inverted lariat (yeah, you read that right).

Flammer bailed to regroup and Love was about to dive onto her, but Flammer moved before she could jump. Flammer got back in the ring and levelled love with a big strike. She started stomping on love’s lower back, eventually putting on the Camel Clutch. Love got up out of it and Flammer kicked her in the face.

Flammer shot Love off the ropes an Love came back with a flurry of kicks and German Suplex. Love hit a couple of running knees in the corner, dropping double knees on Flammer then a moonsault. The cover only got her a two count though.

Flammer ducked a charge and hit a lungblower before dragging Love to the middle of the ring and making the cover to get the win.

Match Result: Flammer defeated Sussy Love

After a recap package of WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta’s life and career (which I guess was directed at el hHjo de Vikingo?) it was time for the previously unannounced trios match:

Team Europe (Axiom, Dorian Van Dux & Elio LeFleur) vs Team UK (Charlie Dempsey, Nathan Frazer & Tristan Angels)

Dempsey started things off against Axiom who struggled a little bit to match Dempsey’s technical style. Dempsey was all over Axiom until Axiom was able to get an armbar on. Dempsey tried to power out of an octopus hold, but had to get to the ropes to break it.

Axiom suplexed him out of the ring and Fraser reluctantly got in the ring to face his tag team partner. They stared each other down, shook hands and then Angels tagged himself in and hit a back breaker on Axiom.

Van Dux tagged in and overpowered Angels so LeFleur could hit a head scissor takedown. Angel had enough and tagged out, bringing in Fraser who locked up with LeFleur. They ran through a super fast series with neither one being able to catch the other.

Finally, Fraser landed a dropkick on LeFleur and then hit a rolling bulldog for a two count. Angels tagged in again and suplexed LeFleur. He bounced LeFleurs head off the turnbuckles and double stomped him before tagging in Dempsey.

The two threw elbows at each other until LeFleur went for a casadora, but Dempsey counterd into a bridged suplex. Dempsey grapevined LeFleur’s leg, but Fraser came in and leapt off the top turnbuckle. LeFleur caught him with a neckbreaker counter though.

Le Fleur fought off Dempsey and Angels and got a hot tag to Van Dux who Angle slammed him. Van Dux hit a springboard Cutter on Angels, but only got a two count. Van Dux went up top again and Dempsey tried to interfere, grabbing Van Dux and hitting a butterfly superplex for a two count.

Axiom and Fraser caught hot tags and faced off again. Neither one could land anything on the other until Fraser got a superkick. He went for a spingboard, but Axiom countered with a mid-air cutter. Fraser hit a cutter of his own, but Axiom kicked out of the cover.

Fraser went up top, but Axiom saw it coming and grabbed him in a Spanish Fly. Dempsey broke up the cover and LeFleur and Angels tagged in. Dempsey and Axiom followed, then Van Dux dropped Dempsey. Van Dux picked up Axiom and threw him onto Dempsey and Fraser on the outside. Then Van Dux dove onto them to prove the point.

Back in the ring, Angels and LeFleur traded moves until LeFleur managed to drop Angels on his head and grab a pin to get the victory for his team.

Match Result: Axiom, Dorian Van Dux & Elio LeFleur defeat Charlie Dempsey, Nathan Frazer & Tristan Angels

Next week, the Intercontinental Title is on the line as el Hijo de Vikingo challenges Penta! Also, Flammer will celebrate her reign as Reina De Reinas Champion.
