Update —

Lucha Libre AAA has now officially announced the Verano de Escandalo details:

**********

The event is still not officially announced, but a ticket listing has confirmed the planned date and location for AAA Verano de Escandalo 2026.

It was reported a couple weeks back that, before Triplemania happens in September, AAA could have another PLE-level event this summer with its annual Verano de Escandalo event. Ticketing site Boletomovil confirms the reported Saturday, July 25 date for the show, along with revealing that it will be held in Aguascalientes at Arena San Marcos, which has hosted Verano de Escandalo three of the past four years.

AAA is looking to maintain its momentum heading into the summer after a successful Noche de Los Grandes, which was headlined by the mask vs. mask match between El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) and Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable).

Two-night Triplemania 34 set for September —

Following Verano de Escandalo, AAA has Triplemania 34 set for September 11 and 13. Night one will be held in Las Vegas before AAA heads to Mexico City for night two.

No matches have been made official for Verano de Escandalo or Triplemania so far, but it’s been announced that Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio will have a title defense on the September 13 Triplemania card. His opponent is not known yet.
