Adam Pearce & Nick Aldis to make announcement on WWE Raw

The general managers of Raw and SmackDown are set to make an announcement tonight.

Ahead of tonight’s Raw, WWE posted a video with Adam Pearce revealing that he and Nick Aldis will make an announcement on the show. Pearce didn’t indicate what the announcement will be about.

WWE’s tweet called it a “massive announcement.”

“SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis is here tonight to make an announcement with me,” Pearce said. “About what? You’ll find out [tonight].”

Including tonight, there are only four episodes of Raw left until WrestleMania 40.

Pearce also revealed that Michael Cole will conduct an interview with Cody Rhodes live on Raw tonight. It was made official on SmackDown last Friday that Rhodes & Seth Rollins vs. The Rock & Roman Reigns will headline night one of WrestleMania.

Rhodes is challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 night two. If Rhodes & Rollins win the tag match on night one, The Bloodline will be barred from ringside for the night two main event. But if The Rock & Reigns win, Reigns vs. Rhodes will be a Bloodline Rules match, meaning that anything goes.

Raw is taking place from the Toyota Center in Houston tonight. Here’s the updated lineup:

  • Gauntlet match to decide Gunther’s Intercontinental title challenger for WrestleMania 40: Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable vs. Ricochet vs. Bronson Reed vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. JD McDonagh
  • Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) defend against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark
  • Michael Cole interviews Cody Rhodes
  • Raw general manager Adam Pearce & SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis will make an announcement
