Against tough competition, WWE Raw posts lowest ratings since June

The competition from the MLB playoffs and Monday Night Football led to last night’s episode of Raw doing the lowest numbers since a June 12th show that went against the NBA finals.

Raw did 2.68 million viewers, down seven percent from last week.

It was still third for the night on cable, trailing the Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL game that did 8.38 million viewers and a New York Yankees vs. Houston Astros baseball playoff game that did 5.11 million viewers.

Dancing With The Stars, featuring Nikki Bella, did 9.57 million viewers, up three percent from last week. The NFL was down 18 percent from last week, while baseball was up 14 percent.

With a Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman steel cage match as the main event, the audience held in the third hour better than most weeks. The only demo that showed a significant drop from hour one to three was over 50 and 12-34 showed a rare increase.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 2.73 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 2.73 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 2.61 million viewers
