John Cena really did write the ring introduction read by WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor for AJ Styles at Crown Jewel.

Cena handed Taylor a note before Styles’ introduction, which included references to his past with Bullet Club, TNA Wrestling, and more.

Bryan Alvarez reports that Cena really did write Styles’ ring introduction for the show and Styles had no idea it was going to happen. Alvarez posted to his subscribers on X:

“Apparently John Cena wrote the ring intro for AJ Styles and AJ had no idea.”

Taylor introduced Styles for the match:

“The definition of Total Nonstop Action. The Ace and Undisputed Boss of The Bullet Club. It is our honor as fans and my honor as an opponent to see if he can beat up John Cena one final time. He is the face that runs the place, the phenomenon AJ Styles!”
