AJ Styles to be in son Avery’s corner for pro wrestling debut
Avery Styles is set to make his pro wrestling debut.
The son of AJ Styles has been announced for SCA Wrestling’s Freedom Fling event at the Royston Dome in Royston, Georgia on Friday, June 26.
Styles will have his father in his corner when he faces Ashton Martin on the show.
“JUST ANNOUNCED: AVERY STYLES will make his pro wrestling debut in Royston, GA, with WWE HALL OF FAMER, “THE PHENOMENAL” AJ STYLES IN HIS CORNER!! He takes on The Program’s Ashton Martin in one on one action!” SCA Wrestling wrote on Facebook.
AJ Styles addressed the idea of potentially wrestling with his son shortly after his loss to Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Styles was hesitant to say that he’ll never wrestle again, mentioning that he would potentially like to team with his son someday.
“I mean, what if my son wrestles? The opportunity to tag with him once. You never know,” Styles said.
In May, Avery Styles shared a training video of himself doing his father’s Spiral Tap onto a crash pad.
