Alexa Bliss pulled from WWE Money in the Bank match


UPDATE: Nikki Cross will be the replacement for Bliss. Cross defeating Raw's other women's Money in the Bank participants in a fatal four-way match on TV this week was done in the event Bliss wasn't going to get cleared and to set up a logical reason for Cross to be added.


Alexa Bliss has been pulled from Sunday's women's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Bliss was pulled for injury reasons, although the specific injury is unknown. We were told the injury wasn't serious and this was a precautionary call due to the nature of her being in a ladder match. announced: "Alexa Bliss is not medically cleared to compete at WWE Money in the Bank this Sunday, and has been removed from the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. A suitable replacement for Alexa will be announced."

Bliss has been battling injury issues of late. She didn't wrestle on Raw nor has she wrestled on the current European tour. The Raw house shows on the tour were advertised as Becky Lynch vs. Bliss, but were changed to Lynch vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina in three-way matches.

The company has not decided on her replacement at this point, but the decision is expected to be made over the next few hours.
