Alexa Bliss returns on WWE SmackDown

Alexa Bliss is back in WWE after a two-month absence.

Bliss returned to action on Friday’s WWE SmackDown as the mystery partner to United States Champion Zelina Vega in a tag team encounter against former US champ Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Vega and Bliss defeated Green and Niven after Bliss connected with Twisted Bliss and her version of the Sister Abigail for the victory.

Later on SmackDown, Bliss had a backstage interaction with Charlotte Flair after a storyline segment where Flair announced that she was walking out of the company due to negative fan response. A tag team pairing with Bliss and Flair could be in the offing.

Bliss was last in the ring at Elimination Chamber on March 1 in the number one contender’s Elimination Chamber match won by Bianca Belair. She made her initial return to the promotion at this year’s Royal Rumble after a two-year hiatus.
