Alexa Bliss returns to action on WWE Raw

Bliss returned to the ring for the first time since February on Monday's Raw.

Alexa Bliss returned to WWE programming for the first time since February on Monday's Raw.

Bliss defeated Sonya Deville in under a minute with a DDT and her Twisted Bliss finisher in her return, her first match since Elimination Chamber in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on February 19.

Bliss had her Lilly doll with her, but did not use any of the other supernatural elements that had been associated with that iteration of her on-screen persona, instead seemingly returning to the character that she played prior to her association with Bray Wyatt.

Bliss had taken time off from WWE after the Extreme Rules event last September, then returned at Elimination Chamber after a series of vignettes where she spoke to a therapist. Bliss then again disappeared from WWE programming, and got married to singer Ryan Cabrera on April 9 in her time away.

In an interview in April, Bliss said that she was ready to return to WWE, but was just waiting for the phone call to do so.
