Alexa Bliss shares update on arm injury
WWE SmackDown wrestler Alexa Bliss recently shared the latest update on her arm injury.
A few weeks ago, on the July 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, Bliss sustained an arm injury when Jade Cargill trapped her arm in a steel chair and smashed it. The angle occurred after Cargill had secured her victory over Bliss.
Bliss later uploaded an image on social media showing the nasty bruise on her arm. She has recently been spotted in public wearing an arm brace while recovering from the injury.
Recently appearing on ESPN Vibe Check, Bliss opened up and shared an estimated recovery timeline. “Jade [Cargill] got me. She bent my elbow backward with a chair, which is fine because I have bendy elbows, but it went a little too far and when she slammed the chair, I think there is a bone chip and this ligament is a little overstretched.
“It’s sore, but it’s more of an inconvenience with how bulky [the brace] is. It’s keeping things in place, it’s healing fast, and I’m hoping it’s just a couple of weeks and we’re good.”
Despite Bliss’ statements, there are currently no confirmed updates on her in-ring return. Similar to Bliss, Rhea Ripley is also currently out injured with no return update.
Alexa Bliss shares her thoughts on the Logan Paul-Tom Brady rivalry
Recently, TMZ Sports caught up with Alexa Bliss, where she was asked to share her thoughts on the ongoing beef between Tom Brady and Logan Paul.
“I think it’s always fun when someone comes into our world because then they learn how difficult it actually is and how intense it actually is. And, you know, because a lot of people that come from other backgrounds and everything, have amazing athletic ability. But nothing prepares your body for what goes on in WWE, especially my first day. My first day, I was not prepared and it’s a rude awakening.
“I think it’d be awesome. I’m always excited with anybody that comes into our world and because you learn a lot of respect for it and you learn how difficult it is and to see people come in and people like Bad Bunny who they came in and was so respectful took it seriously, trained hard. Logan’s come in, he’s trained hard like there’s so many people that come in and embrace it and you know whenever anyone else comes into our world and fully embraces it. It’s always fun.”
