Alexa Bliss teases WWE return, says timing ‘not up to me’

With a cryptic social media post on Monday, Alexa Bliss built up anticipation for her WWE return.

Bliss tweeted out a gif this morning with the caption “Where’s Alexa…” But when a fan responded asking for answers on when she’ll be returning, Bliss responded: “Unfortunately, not up to me.”

Bliss has been away from the ring for nearly two years now. During her time out of action, she gave birth to her daughter Hendrix in November 2023. Bliss has seemingly been teasing her WWE return on social media as of late including sharing footage this summer of her training in the ring.

The most recent match Bliss had was against Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. The 2025 Royal Rumble is being held in Indianapolis on February 1.

Bliss tweeted today that, since that Royal Rumble 2023 match, she’s been recovering from “skin cancer removal, pregnancy, preeclampsia [a blood pressure condition during pregnancy], and postpartum health complications back to back.”

In response to a fan who said they want Bliss to return as her Goddess character, Bliss said she’s “always evolving.” Bliss also tweeted that she misses all of the fans.
