Baron Corbin thanks fans for support following WWE departure

Baron Corbin has commented on his exit from WWE after a 12-year run with the company.

Corbin was informed his contract would not be renewed last Friday, the same day that Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox were released.

Fans have been posting their favorite Corbin moments to social media in recent days, including his gimmick as Happy Corbin and the preceding time he spent as Bum Ass Corbin.

Corbin responded to the support he’s received, writing, “Just want to let everyone know I see all the messages and tweets. I appreciate it more than you know. It defn helps!”

Fightful reported that Corbin was one of several WWE wrestlers on hand for a Netflix-WWE commercial shoot on Sunday, October 27, just days before WWE informed him they would not renew his contract. Corbin confirmed the report today on X, writing, “That is a fact.”

Corbin also responded to a fan on Instagram who said WWE “fumbled the bag” when they let him go. Corbin wrote back, “I appreciate that and feel the same.”
