Becky Lynch not medically cleared for WWE Raw, title match postponed

Becky Lynch was not medically cleared for Monday’s WWE Raw after suffering an injury at Saturday’s NXT No Mercy event.

Fightful was first to report that Lynch was not cleared for this week’s Raw where she had been announced for an NXT Women’s Championship defense against Tegan Nox. That match was postponed, but Lynch did appear on Raw in a backstage segment and on WWE’s digital platforms for a segment with Indi Hartwell.

Lynch vs. Nox for the NXT Women’s title has been rescheduled for the Monday, October 9 Raw. Additionally, Lynch was announced as appearing on this week’s NXT episode.

In an extreme rules match defending the NXT Women’s title at No Mercy against Tiffany Stratton, Lynch suffered a laceration to her arm that required stitches.

After the Raw title match was postponed this week, Nox instead wrestled Chelsea Green on the show, scoring a quick victory. Nox also seemingly formed an alliance with Natalya, with a future Women’s Tag Team title match with Natalya & Nox challenging Piper Niven & Green teased for the future.
