WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch recently caught up with ChiefsWire, where she shared her thoughts on WWE Unreal.

Just a few hours left for WWE Unreal’s second season’s release on Netflix, Lynch noted that while she and her husband, Seth Rollins, still harbour the “old school mentality”, she believes she would have loved the show if she were watching as “a fan.”

“Yeah, I mean, there’s that old school mentality that I think is in both of us, where we feel a little bit sheltered and a little bit uncomfortable letting it all out there. But I also think that as a fan, I would have loved to see this. This would have been my dream.”

Lynch further continued on the transition phases pro-wrestling has undergone, and how people are currently aware of pro-wrestling’s “entertainment” nature.

“So, you know, wrestling has gone through different stages, and right now we are in the midst of everybody knowing that it’s story lines, that it’s entertainment, and however else we can service them in entertainment.”

While Lynch still has mixed feelings about the show, Rollins once revealed his difficult relationship with WWE Unreal. Although former WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green believes the show is an important step in pushing the industry forward.

WWE Unreal on Netflix is set to release on January 20th, 2026, this time focusing on Seth Rollins’ fake injury angle, R-Truth’s WWE exit and return, and several more angles leading up to SummerSlam 2025.
