Becky Lynch to miss WWE Raw due to fractured voice box

Lynch wrote the injury took place at a house show on Sunday night.

Becky Lynch announced on social media she would not be on Raw tonight due to a fractured voice box.

Lynch wrote on Instagram that the injury took place at a WWE house show in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Sunday, blaming it on Bianca Belair, who she is currently feuding with.

“Unfortunately I will not be at #WWERaw tonight,” Lynch wrote. “Not only did Bianca whip me mercilessly with the illegal weapon that is her hair last week, but last night in the main event of #WWEAllentown she tried to take away my biggest weapon, the spoken word, by fracturing my voice box. She can’t keep me down that easily. I’ll be coming for her next week. You can’t spell Wrestlemania without I!!!!!”

Lynch, Doudrop, and Nikki ASH faced Belair, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan on last week’s Raw. During the course of the match, Belair whipped Lynch repeatedly with her hair, forming visible bruising on Lynch’s abdomen. Belair won the match for her team after pinning ASH.

Belair will get a shot at Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship on WrestleMania Saturday, April 2.
