Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss set for SmackDown in November

The WWE has just acknowledged that Becky Lynch will not be appearing on tonight’s No Mercy pay-per-view in Sacramento.

During the pregame show they had Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan tell Alexa Bliss that due to a medical situation that has nothing to do with the ring (as noted earlier today, this was not an injury), that Lynch won’t be on the show. They announced that Bliss would be wrestling on the card but didn’t say who the opponent would be.

As noted, the three most likely opponents would be Nikki Bella, although that would pull her out of an advertised match with Carmella, so it’s likely not her, or Naomi or Eva Marie, unless they bring someone up from NXT or have heel Natalya face Bliss.

They also announced that the Lynch vs. Bliss title match will take place on 11/8 in Glasgow, Scotland, so most likely that is the timetable for Lynch’s return.
