Becky Lynch vs. Asuka rematch set for next week’s WWE Raw

Becky Lynch and Asuka will face off in a Raw Women’s Championship rematch on the road to WrestleMania 36.

WWE has announced that Lynch will defend her title against Asuka on Raw next Monday. The announcement was made after Lynch accepted a challenge from Asuka on Raw tonight.

After defeating Natalya on Raw, Asuka cut a promo and challenged Lynch to a rematch. Lynch said defeating Asuka at the Royal Rumble damn near gave her superpowers, and Asuka would be right if she thinks Lynch wants to do that again.

Lynch then questioned why she would defend her title so close to WrestleMania, but she said the only thing better than beating Asuka once would be to do it again. Kairi Sane went to attack Lynch, but Lynch saw what she was doing and fought her off.

Lynch retained her Raw Women’s title against Asuka when they faced off at the Royal Rumble. The storyline was that Lynch had one more debt to collect and needed to prove she can defeat Asuka after losing to her at last year’s Rumble PPV.

WWE has yet to announce who will challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
