Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca set for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Sol Ruca and Becky Lynch meet at SNME

A new match is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On Raw, Sol Ruca was being interviewed when Becky Lynch interrupted, pointing out that Ruca hasn’t won since joining the main roster. Ruca left and headed to the ring where she called out Lynch, saying she wasn’t interested in dealing with her and challenged her to a match right then and there.

Lynch arrived and told the new Raw star that if she really wanted a match, they could do it at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ruca said she’d take the Intercontinental title, but Lynch dismissed the thought of a title match, saying she didn’t agree to that.

Ruca made her debut on the main roster following WrestleMania 42. Although she put up a valiant effort against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in her debut match, she fell thanks to interference from former NXT tag team partner Zaria. On last week’s Raw, she came up short again, this time against IYO SKY, who turned the Sol Snatcher into a crucifix for the win.
