Best of 2018 episode of WWE 205 Live to air next week
Next week’s episode of 205 Live will look back at the best of 2018.
It was announced last night that next Wednesday’s 205 Live will be a “best of” episode. WWE had only taped this week’s 205 Live episode at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings, where the Christmas Day edition of SmackDown was filmed.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that WWE planned to keep 205 Live as a taped show for the remainder of 2018. Meltzer noted that a decision on whether or not the show would go back to airing live in 2019 would be made after that.
205 Live, which had previously been airing live on Tuesdays after SmakDown, moved to being taped on Tuesdays and airing on Wednesdays when the second season of Mixed Match Challenge began in September. Mixed Match Challenge season two wrapped up with the finals taking place at TLC this past Sunday.
Both Raw and SmackDown have already been taped for next week. The New Year’s Eve edition of Raw will be taped in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, December 28 and the New Year’s Day episode of SmackDown will be taped in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 29.
