Big Cass wrestles at WWE’s Monday night house show

Despite being pulled from last week’s Money in the Bank qualifier, Big Cass wrestled at SmackDown’s house show in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Monday night.

Cass teamed with The Miz and was pinned in a tag team match against Daniel Bryan & Tye Dillinger. PWInsider first reported yesterday that Cass would be traveling with the SmackDown roster this week.

Whether or not Cass had legitimately reinjured his knee became a question as he continued selling Bryan’s attack from the May 15th episode of SmackDown on WWE’s subsequent European tour house shows. WWE posted video of him being helped to the back after a match in Munich, Germany on May 20th and then announced that he had been removed from his scheduled Money in the Bank qualifier against Samoa Joe.

Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy instead took place, with Bryan advancing to a qualifying match against Joe tonight. Cass was also shown walking with crutches backstage during last week’s SmackDown.
