Big update emerges on the future of WWE NXT, callups expected

WWE NXT star earns future AAA Cruiserweight title match

A latest update has emerged on the future of several WWE NXT stars.

For several years now, NXT has transitioned itself into the premier developmental brand for the WWE main roster. In the past, major stars such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Gunther, and many others have made their mark in the industry following successful call-ups. Now, according to a new update, many more talents may be on their way to the main roster.

Our Bryan Alvarez reported on Thursday that several big NXT callups are expected in the ‘next month or so’. The update noted that most of the names being discussed are deserving and that it is about time they make the jump.

Recently, former NXT Champions Oba Femi and Trick Williams have emerged as two favorite names to get the call up alongside Jordynne Grace, Ricky Saints, and Tony D’Angelo. These names, however, are not confirmed and remain purely speculative.

Earlier this year, talents such as Sol Ruca, Zaria, Je’Von Evans, and Lash Legend began making sporadic appearances on the main roster and have already impressed audiences. Meanwhile, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia made their full-time moves to the main roster and have already won championships.

In less than a few hours, NXT is set to host it’s much-awaited Deadline PLE, following which fans can expect a few stars to get the call up.
