Brock Lesnar advertised for December Raw in Rhode Island

While WWE’s plans for Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble have yet to be made apparent, that should be changing over the next few weeks.

The Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island announced on their social media accounts yesterday that Lesnar would be in the building for the December 18th episode of Raw. Lesnar hasn’t appeared on television since defeating AJ Styles at Survivor Series and hasn’t been advertised for next Monday’s Raw in Los Angeles or for the December 11th show in Cleveland.

The night before Raw takes place in Providence, WWE will present their final pay-per-view of the year with SmackDown’s Clash of Champions event in Boston. The build for the Royal Rumble should pick up around that time, with the following two weeks of Raw being live shows on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Dave Meltzer previously reported that Lesnar was scheduled to defend his Universal Championship against Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble until plans were changed due to Vince McMahon not feeling Balor is over enough for the match at this point in time. WWE.com ran a poll asking who should face Lesnar next, with Balor winning by a large majority.
