Brock Lesnar destroys Cody Rhodes on WWE Raw after WrestleMania

Brock Lesnar destroyed Cody Rhodes, beating him around the arena in an eight-minute angle to close the WWE Raw after WrestleMania episode.

At the top of the show, Rhodes issued a challenge to Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa for a tag team bout, which Reigns accepted with the caveat that Rhodes’ partner had to be someone who competed at WrestleMania, and could not challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal title. Lesnar entered and declared himself Rhodes’ partner for the evening’s main event.

After the ring introductions for the Rhodes & Lesnar vs. Reigns & Sikoa bout, Lesnar hit Rhodes with an F-5, and the match never took place. Instead, Lesnar suplexed Rhodes, threw him into the timekeeper’s area, hit him with a chair, hit him with the steel ring steps, put him through the announcer’s table, then hit another F-5 onto the steel steps in the ring in an angle that stretched over eight minutes.

As Rhodes was being attended to and stretchered out of the arena, Lesnar returned to the stage to flip double middle fingers to Rhodes.

The angle capped a weekend that saw Rhodes lose in his Undisputed WWE Universal title match against Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday following interference from Paul Heyman and Sikoa.

Lesnar defeated Omos in the opening contest of WrestleMania Sunday.
